I have a dear friend, Dana Miller (we call her Gangy) who is going thru some difficult times. Her hubby is sick and taking more tests. He is not strong enough for surgery and it appears his lungs may have a cancerous growth. I lost my Mom to lung cancer in June and know how hard it is to be the caregiver.
I ask, if you can, just to send her a word of encouragement in a card. She loves handmade cards.

Thank you so much ladies! I just love Miss Dana and she has had a hard time in the past year. She lost her mom and nearly lost her Tom due to heart problems. We all know it is a matter of time and encouragement is what she needs to see her through the dark hours.
My husband had pancreatic cancer 8 years ago. I remember how much this sort of thing mean to me then. How wonderful of you to let us help! I'll send a card out today.
Just got this email from Dana and wanted to share it with you ladies that are making her encouragement cards:
Dear Arlene:
Well, it doesn't look like cancer to the doctor but if it was he said he would not recommend surgery, radiation or chemo. Tom has only 35% of his heart working and it is not pumping enough to get all the fluid off and his lungs are not being worked like a normal person so it look like parts of his lungs are shutting down. I am really confused and I had 2 of our girls in there to listen to it all. They want Tom to take several deep breaths a day and we have to watch his fluid intake and he is taking more lasix. Tom would not do the exercises the physical therepist wanted him to so I have very little faith he will so the deep breaths. Why are men so hard headed.
Maybe after a good nights rest I will understand it all better.
Palapala - Dana love cards with flowers or animals on them especially! She has a bunch of farm animals she tends to daily and they are more of pets to her these days.... I hear about her donkey alot.
Could you please help?
