Default Copic markers w/ adirondack solution?

Does anyone know if I can use Adirondack Alcohol Blending Solution to refill a copic colorless blender and get the same kind of results?

I only use Copic's Colorless Blender solution to refill mine. Copic markers might be called "alcohol markers," but they are actually based on ethanol. Copics have a faster drying time than some of the other marker brands.

I too only use the Copic Colorless Blender to refill mine. The refill is so cheap, like $15 and you get alot. Why ruin your marker using something different? I say only use Copic Inks to refill your markers to be on the safe side.

I learned in a Tim Holtz class not to do certain things with his blending solution. It is very dangerous to put it in a spray bottle. The Copic solution does not have this danger so I would definitely not use the TH stuff even if I thought it would work. I only save my TH solution and use it very carefully with my alcohol inks.

I stick to only the Copic Solution too. Like Shari mentioned, you get a lot in that bottle! I bought one when I started using my Copics a few years ago and still have some left (even after using it in a few classes I taught). It goes a long way! =)
