Well, I have a bunch of oooollld sets and I have been digging around in the gallery to look at ideas. Do people still want to have comments 3-4 years after they posted the card or is that just going to be annoying to them to get a bunch of comments so long after they've made the card? I didn't comment on stuff that old but did add some to my favs and wondered if I 'should' be commenting.
I've never heard of anyone getting annoyed at receiving comments. It could be the person no longer hangs out or uploads to SCS, but that isn't anything to be concerned about. Comment away!
I am almost always looking at old card because most of the SU sets I have are older and retired. I leave comments because I think it shows the maker of the card that there is still interest in what they did.
I agree with everyone in that a comment is always appreciated! I think it's neat to comment on a gallery pic that is older... it may re-inspire someone to pull that set out and use it again!

Okay, I know it's two weeks late but I think comments are ALWAYS good. I have some old cards in my gallery that I would love to have comments on. (No, not fishing for comments!) :-)
I think it would mean alot to receive comments on a card you made a long time ago. With the way styles come & go, I would feel encouraged that someone felt that the design still stood out.
