Color challenged today
I'm doing a scrapbook page from 1986 and for the LIFE of me, I cannot remember what were the "cool" colors during the mid-'80s.
Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Neon was big for awhile, plaids had their heyday, jewel tones were really popular thanks to shows like Dynasty & Designing Women.
There were so many different fashions in the 80's that it's hard to pick a few colors. I think that was the era that really saw blue jeans move into everyday wear for a lot of people. Bold, graphic prints were all the rage too, so any color mixed with black in a really bold pattern.

Nope, just stubborn (I'm Irish) - I should have stayed in research because I love the feeling you get when you find exactly what you were looking for!

That's the first thing that came to my mind.
Also: argyle, plaid were popular. Heck. This was my era and I am struggling to tell you what colors. I could tell you styles in a heartbeat.

I remember wearing teal a lot back then. And a lot of pretty in pink. Those are the first colors I think of when I think of the 80's.

Guess everyone covered it, I always think Pretty and Pink, Breakfast Club, and 16 Candles.
Pastels for both men and women, plaids, argyle, light denim, pearls,...

I was pretty young then, but in the late 80's I remember wearing a lot of black and white, and a lot of neon colors. Bold black and white patterns too! Don't forget to use cool lettering like the MTV lettering or what not too!

I relate colors to home decorating, especially in the kitchen. I remember having a lot of peach, teal, and slate blue items. (In fact, it's taken me forever to finally get rid of them!!)

In home decorating EVERYTHING was Williamsburg Blue! Seafoam green had a brief splash of popularity too.
