Default postcard question

has anyone made an actual postcard and sent it? if so how would you do the back where you'd address and write your note? is there any specifics I should know about?

Any input would be appreciated.
thanks
Kim

I just made Change of Address postcards for my mother/stepfather. I put all of the information on the front. My mom will hand address (I'd use labels) in the middle of the back. Postage stamp will go in the upper right of the address.

You probably could draw a vertical line on the back, put your message to the left, address to the right, and stamp in the upper right corner. Doesn't leave a lot of room. I believe you need to keep the upper and lower horizontal sections clear for the postmark and some other post office markings.

I made my own postcards by cutting an 8 1/2 by 11" piece of cardstock into four equal pieces.

One side I addressed just like you would a regular envelope with address, return address and postage stamp.
The other side is where I put my information and jazzed it up with stamping.

Mine have mailed with no problems.
