So, you can send cards through the mail in clear envelopes? Can you write on the envelope (address and return address) or do you need to use labels? Why would you use a clear envelope as opposed to a regular one? Do you need extra postage?
Yes, you can send clear envelopes in the mail. I've done it a few time. I the address/return address info on a scrap paper and put it in the envelope covering the back of the card. I put the postage on the outside of the envelope. I guess you could use a sharpie and write on it. No extra postage, unless you card in bulky.
Do you generally use the clear envelopes to have more of a "Wow" factor when you send your cards? Are these also the things I see people store their cards in?
Something I have done when mailing out Clear Envelopes.
I take a Index card and write the address on it. and then insert it into the Clear Envelope...I always make sure that the card can be seen. Then I seal it. and place the postage stamps over the flap on just on the flap.
This way someone can tell if it's been opened before they get it.
I have friends that send their cards with address labels on the outside that they have printed off their printer.
It's totally up to you on how you want to send them.
