Default Cleaning White Craft Pad?

Someone stamped with Basic black ink, then didn't clean the stamp at all. The next person in line stamped the same stamp on my White Craft stamp pad several times before they noticed.
The white pad is now gray and doesnt look so good. It works fairly well but looks horrible (kind of like a used VersaMark pad looks...)
What is the best way to fix this? I just ordered a white craft refill but it's not here yet. Any dammage control I can do until it arrives?
Thanks!!
Heather

I would use a baby wipe to get as much grey/black off as you can... and then re-ink your pad when your refill arrives.

I wouldn't use the babywipe... not sure what it would introduce to your pad. Instead, just swipe your white pad on a piece of clean scrap paper until the black no longer comes off. Then reink your pad. The stain will remain, but it won't cause problems with the white ink.
