Default Cleaning Staz-On and Encore Ink

I just got my Staz-on and Encore silver pads this week, and I tried them last night for the first time. I had a really hard time cleaning both of these off of my stamps. I used my stampin' scrub from SU! with stampin' mist. Is there a better method for cleaning these?

Thanks!

Staz-on makes a stamp cleaner for their ink. It works great.

Might also try the Magic eraser, I know it takes off the classic and craft inks.

Also there is a product called kiss-off that will take it off.

I have found these at Michaels and Hobby Lobby.

I used non-acetone nail polish remover - however I don't know what this might do the rubber over time....but I would bet that the Staz-on remover is something similar to nail polish remover.

I know someone posted and said that the Mr Clean magic eraser will work too

I've NEVER had problems getting Encore silver, gold, or copper off my stamps using SU mist and scrubbing pad. It's just that the metallics (as well as crafts inks) mess up my scrubbing pad to where I have to immediately go rinse them. Staz-on is different. I can't get it off even with the Stazon scrub. So what that I have stained stamps. It doesn't affect the stamps.

JudiKins makes a product called "permanent ink cleaner" that works great on all types of ink - I highly recommend it!
