Question Crazy for Cupcakes problem

The string on the balloon has come unstuck.. how can I stick it back on the foam?
my granddaughter - 9 said it must be one of my cheap stamps sets!! ugh! I've only used it once so I'm not overly impressed either. Any help would be appreciated!

I use Crystal Effects to stick the rubber back to the foam when it comes loose. I'm not sure what the proper thing to use it, but this works for me. I've also used rubber cement.

Thank-you! I've seen other posts, similar problem but forgot the answer.!
Guess I need to order Crystal Effects, don't have rubber cement either.

I read NOT to use Crystal Effects 'cause over time it'll harden the foam... I have never tried this though - just passing on what I've read.

I have used Allene's white glue to re-attach therubber to the foam for years and not had a problem. It is not cheap stamps that cause the problem. It is the fact that the rubber and foam are narrowly cut and when you clean them on the stampin' scrub, the pressure and scrubbing motion will cause them to separate....especially if you clean the stamp sideways.

It's the cut and the lack of stickiness in the foam. I don't have this issue with thinly cut EZ Mount stamps, but do with SU stamps. EZ Mount has better adhesive on the foam.

I too, have reattached with Crystal Effects. It does harden over time. So, I agree with the suggestion of using rubber cement.
