Default Digital Stamp placement

I love that so many digital stamps are coming out as it is easier on the old pocketbook.

My question is about placement. Please look at this to understand my question. http://www.angelslanding.com/stamps-...e-animals.html

See how the project idea on the right bottom shows a bird sitting right on the kangaroo's tail? It does not look like they cut the bird out and put it there but it looks like it was placed there with the computer. Do you think that is how they did it?

Please share some sites where you have found adorable digital stamped images.

Thanks.

I'm no expert, but I imagine the bird is a different layer than the kangaroo, so they could place the bird on the tail and then lock the layers.

Click on the card photo and you'll find in the description that it's done with a computer, here's her wording:
The wallaby and kookaburra images were digitally combined, then printed with a laser printer on artist quality watercolor paper.

I should add that I could do this on an older version of Adobe that is not compatible to my newer computer...can't figure out how it's done with the new program. Sometimes I hate progress!!!

Yes, both Valerie and Roxie are right. The two individual PNG images of the wallaby and the kookaburra have transparent backgrounds, so you can combine them any way you want. In Photoshop, I copied the wallaby on layer #1. I copied the kookabura on layer #2 and then moved him until he was perched on the wallaby's tail. Then I scaled them down to the size I needed and printed them.

Thanks for asking.

WOW. Thanks. I think I can figure it out now after being pointed in the right direction.

This might help you: http://www.scrapbit.com/2009/04/20/t...images-in-word. I use Photoshop but many software, photo software that is, can do layers.
