Default Cardstock/Designer Paper - Size and Storage Help!

Hello~

I'm trying to "downsize" all my 12x12 cardstock and designer paper, but I'm having a difficult time trying to figure out what "size" to cut it down to. The 12 x 12 size is just taking up too much room, and I usually cut it down to card size, anyway. I'm not a scrapbooker, and if I were, I would most likely use white as my background anyway (I'm keeping white in 12 x 12), with smaller colored paper accents.

What SIZE and means of storage has worked well for you card making stampers? (I also want to protect the paper from dust, etc.) Do you use portable file-type holders, envelope boxes, photo boxes, etc.?

Any ideas and helpful hints would be GREATLY appreciated!!
