Default Card Organization & Storage Idea

Okay I was reading on another thread where a lady wanted a spinner rack to protect her cards and it got me thinking how I store my cards.

http://home-solutions.hsn.com/croppe...?ac=comjunctdf

This is a cropper hopper photo supply case. It will hold standard cards (4.25 x 5.5) and their envelopes. I buy my cases (I have 2 for cards and 2 for photo organization) at Michael's with the 40 % coupon. They are pricey at $30ish dollars but they will keep your cards organized, dust free and in good shape for mailing. This way I have began to have a stash of generic get well, congrats, etc cards on hand to use.

Wish I could say this was my idea, but it was my sister's.... lol.... now my idea was with the photo storage in the same type of box. I store my photos in clear envies and label the top of the envie with a label maker. This way when I am ready to scrapbook, I simply thumb thru and select a theme or event and get to work.

Hope this helps!
Arlene

Wow, Arlene, I'd never thought of this, and I have 5 of them for photos! It's perfect for those who have lots of cards to store...like me! And you're right, these are best bought with a coupon or on sale. HL carries them, too.

Thanks Arlene for sharing this! I bought one a while back at M's with a coupon to store my first few SU stamp pads. Saw that solution elsewhere here on SCS I'm sure. Anyway I quickly outgrew the case and have all my pictures on my computer (to be organized) and have stashed that case in my closet. I'm so excited to find a new use for it! TFS, Kim.

I was just thinking of buying the photo boxes that hobby lobby carries, they are 50% off this week.

The major difference between the two are:

Photo Cropper Box is plastic with a locking system. Easier to carry (more like luggage or briefcase)

The Photo Boxes that are on sale are cardboard shoe box style so the lids don't stay on and does not protect your cards from moisture.
