If I remember correctly the currently retiring colors would make 12 in colors total... how about a new color family with the old "in colors"? I would soooo love that!

While I've loved every single In Color so far (some more than others!), I'm ok with them retiring 'cause it means new colors to play with. I think it would be a wonderful thing to add another color family though . . . I love having lots of choices!
I like new colors, but don't like the idea that they will only be available for a limited time, so as my own little protest I have refused to buy any of the in colors. Now, if they would bring out new colors and make them available from then on, I would purchase all of the new colors. I think it would be a good idea to bring them back as a staple, only if they were to bring back the paper and reinkers too.

Ok, I hear a lot of people say this on here and I don't get it. Do you not buy anything from your local scrap/stamp stores then? I always wonder because they don't guarantee that anything will stay in stock. In fact, they rely on turning their product lines over and over and over. I'm truly not picking on ya, just curious . . . I buy what I like (whether from SU or local) and don't worry about how long it's available. And really, a whole year for In Colors is a good, long time to play with 'em and enjoy 'em. Anyway, I'm just curious about this . . . anyone???
It would be fun to be able to still purchase the old 'In Colors' in assortment packages. However, I like having new 'In Colors' with new designer paper featuring the colors. As a demonstrator, we need 'fresh' colors for our classes to keep everything exciting. And at least we get to have the colors for an entire year!
I buy at my LSS but with ink/colors... and a company we regularly use... it would be nice not to have to RUSH out and buy a ton of color you like (or stamps for that matter) because you know if you don't it will soon retire.
I have sold almost all my SU stuff and use other vendors I know who have promised to keep restocking/adding and not retire their colors/stamps... so those of us on limited budgets can take our time and not risk our favorite items retiring.
Just my two cents.
Yep, that is a great idea!!!! Would be wonderful to be able to buy assorted packages of the cardstock. But then I guess we would be back to needing ink refills, etc.
I still feel SU is a company that listens to their customers, we need to continue to make our "wishes" known.

That makes sense. I guess I just have A LOT of favorites LOL! I don't ever worry about what retires 'cause I've learned over the years that there is ALWAYS something new coming out that I'll love. Always. I guess I'm just the opposite 'cause I'd get bored with a company that didn't like change -- I like things to be new and fresh. Good thing there are great choices for us all!
Omigosh, I think SU would make a KILLING if they came out with a limited-time-only assortment pack of the 12 In Colors (with matching markers?? Ooh la la!). I know I'd be all over that! Of course, then some people would be upset that they touted the colors as being "gone forever" and then changed their minds....oh well, a girl can dream, can't she?
