Default Bought Bella's - have a concern

I finally broke down and bought a few Bella's - I couldn't resist any longer. I read the blog and knew that it would be a while for shipping since she's moving locations. BUT I have to say that I was disappointed to find out that my credit card was charged on the day I ordered (5/13) and the stamps still haven't shipped. :(

I'm anxious to get the stamps (I bought the golfafella and a few others), but not keen on the idea of ordering again if I was charged that far in advance. Of course, if I fall in love with the stamps, I may be less concerned.

OK - I feel a bit chagrined (is that spelled right)... I sent them an email earlier today and just received a response - on a Saturday. Looks like things will ship soon! Can't wait to play!!!

They charge you and then ship you...but you must keep in mind that not only is Em moving, she is also currently the only person dealing with all of the orders she receives. If you have any problems about anything just let Em know, she typically responds pretty quickly and is super sweet about everything.

Just wanted to let you know that Em has had a TON going on with the move, building the biz etc etc. Once things settle down, shipping is going to be much faster. She is a 1 woman show at the moment but great at communicating if you just email her.
Hang tight - the Bellas will be worth it

Shipping can still take some time if you are in the US. The package has to go through customs and they can get hung up a bit. Don't worry - they are sooooo worth the wait!!

I think what the OP meant was that a company will typically charge you when they are ready to ship..not weeks before they even ship the item. Then again, i'm not the OP ;)

I order from companies that ship when the order is mailed and others when the order is placed. I figure as long as I deduct the amount from my checkbook it really doesn't matter when they charge me. I am sure she makes the stamps and knows they will never be on "back order" as sometimes happens with companies that carry OTHER people's merchandise KWIM? I don't see a problem with the way it is set up. Just MHO

Just my 2 cents...Man, I start a lot of comments that way...

If you pay with paypal, it happens automatically. The merchant can not stop the transaction from processing. She does nothing to process the credit card, it just processes immediately by itself when you press the pay it button.

If you pay by another credit card method and the merchant has to process the credit card, she will wait until your order is next in line to be processed and then she will process your card. If she doesn't do that, she won't know if the credit card will be approved so she can't wait until after she ships it to process it. KWIM?

So, the good news is, if you didn't use paypal, your order is probably being processed as we speak!

Big hugs to you. Isn't hard to wait when you want something so bad!!! The bellas are so cute. It was hard to wait for mine, but it was worth it!

Hugs!
