Default Blond moment

In the Unfrogettable set, it has a saying "Have I toad you lately that I love you?" Would this only go with the toadstool image, or do you think I could do it with one of the frogs? I mean, the set is called Unfrogettable, so I'm confused - are they just frogs or are they toads too?
Thanks in advance,
~Kendra

It would be great used with one of the frog stamps. A frog and a toad are both amphibians so the toadstool stamp would be A-okay used with the frog (toad) stamp. Have fun and HTH we all get those moments ...

i agree with the above poster... i think frogs and toads are so similar (i'm sure someone knows the difference) but I think that the saying stamp was meant to be used with the frog images just my opinion!

Well the fastest way to check and see if it is a frog stamp or a toad stamp is kiss it...if it turns into a prince you know it was a frog!!!! LOL oh ok just kidding

I think it could go either way...frog ....toad....it is a cartoony type of character....so have fun!

Default Frogs vs. Toads

Well I was curious myself. No way a vet student curious about animals lol. ;) So I looked it up on wikipedia and this is what I came up with. It explains why when I asked reptile people why they brushed off the question. It seems as though it doesn't really matter except to taxonomists and even they don't really care.

The use of the common names "frog" and "toad" has no real taxonomic justification. From a taxonomic perspective, all members of the order Anura are frogs, but only members of the family Bufonidae are considered "true toads". The use of the term "frog" in common names usually refers to species that are aquatic or semi-aquatic with smooth or moist skins, and the term "toad" generally refers to species that tend to be terrestrial with dry, warty skin. An exception is the Fire-bellied toad (Bombina bombina): while its skin is slightly warty, it prefers a watery habitat.
