Default BLOCKS AND CASES

I'm ALMOST done UNMOUNTING all my stamp sets. They are now neatly stacked in CD cases. (I went from an entire book case full of stamps, to just one shelf!) I'm using TIO&O, but have only applied glue on about 1/3 of my sets.

BUT, WHAT DO YOU DO with all the wood blocks? And hundreds of plastic clam shell cases??!! I just can't throw all that wood and plastic out.

I have found some awesome uses for the cases: organize jewelry; office supplies; make-up; pre-cut pieces for cards; scraps; but I still have way too many.

What are you all doing with the extras?

You can always offer them here, trade them, or sell them. You'd be surprised at how many of us want them especially the clam shell cases- they are great for storage.

Someone was kind enough to give me some of the plastic cases last year (I just had to pay shipping) and I've used every one of them. I ended using some to replace some of mine that were damaged and badly dented and some for storage.

I use the cases for storing all kinds of things, including my scrap cardstock by color families and all of my twinkling H2O's. I haven't put the blocks to good use yet, but I will use a few to make name blocks and picture blocks. My husband uses the blocks occassionally to hold things in place while he's fixing them. I can't bring myself to throw out any of the blocks. I also don't have the patience to sell them, so they will sit in the attic.

I would th ink there might be a preschool/childcare that might be interested in them. You could probably take the donation off of your taxes also.

Amber - I don't need any CD cases (found a website where I got 200 for about $25!). I'd be willing to send them to you if you'll pay shipping. They're in good condition, but will have the stamp set label on the edge. Here are some quick measurement of the boxes:
3 1/2 X 5
5X6
5X7
5 1/2 X 8 1/2
e-mail me to let me know sizes, quantities and your mailing address.

Patty - do you need any more plastic cases? Anyone else?

The blocks are S T I C K Y so I wouldn't want to dump them on a preschool/childcare, but I can check. Maybe one of their hubbies are handy and would take the task of de-stickifying them!

I will take the two largest plus 10 of the next largest size...Unless you can fit them all in a flat rate priority box....then I will take the 21 + 2.
Just let me know.
Blessings.

OK, I'm getting a few requests for the plastic boxes and they're going quickly. Here's what I have and what's already been taken:

3 1/2 X 5 = 12 boxes
5 X 6 = 27 boxes (momis mama gets 15) - 12 left
5 X 7 = 24 boxes (momis mama gets 15)- 9 left
5 1/2 X 8 1/2; 5 1/2 X 10 3/4 = GONE - (Amber)

I'm thinking the best way to ship the boxes is to open them flat, then stack them inside eachother and they should fit in a flat rate box (thanks Amber). So that would be around $5. But flat rate goes priority. If you don't need them right away, maybe finding a box and sending bulk rate would lower the price. PM me if you're interested and we'll decide the best for you.

Hi!
Sent you an email earlier in the evening, hopefully you got it?
Still interested and would love the 12 + 12 + 9... or as many as you can fit in one box!

Thanks so much! Please feel free to msg back if you have any questions.

Kristi
