This is a bit off-topic but just had to share my fun Black Saturday story. Sears had a coupon in Friday's paper for $5 off anything $5 or more and good on doorbusters, clearance, anything in the clothing, intimates, and accessories categories. I thought I'd use it to get my grandson and son-in-law some socks---got 2 pkgs. of $4.99 socks that were on sale for $1.37 after the $5 off. When I paid the clerk gave me back the coupon and said I could use it over and over again as many times as I liked until it expired at 1PM. Darn, it was already 11:45 AM but I was able to use my $5 off at total of 10 times and purchased socks, underwear and some pjs. Everything was on sale or clearance so I got some really good deals and the added bonus of $5 off each item. They each had to be rung up as a separate transaction but well worth the trouble. Too bad the coupon expired at 1PM or I might still be shopping.
I saw the Grand Caliber on sale at AC Moore for $69.99 I think, then there was an additional 30% coupon you could have used Friday morning which would have brought it to about $49.00- I thought that was pretty amazing but had to use my cash for other things... too bad huh?

I saw that also. If I didn't already have a Big Shot pro, I might have bought it. It was seriously tempting.

Did anyone get the Imagine from Walmart? I went to Walmart 3 times on Thursday evening, and then twice on Friday, hoping to score the Imagine. 3 Walmarts later, and none of them had the Imagine in stock (they never had it!!!). I was sooo disappointed. :(

I hear that every Black Friday (*shakes head*), and that's why I gave up and don't own one :( I don't even bother. So sorry to hear that! I am bummed for you!

WOW! That's a awesome deal that even I could afford! And to let you use it over and over? I'd be in there saying, "Hey, what else do you have that costs only $5 or less?"

I thought it was an isolated incident. It was my first time to go to Walmart for Black Friday. Last year (2010), I had a pretty good experience. I got my Cricut Expression at AC Moore (and they had it in stock!), so I was hoping for the same experience this year. :/
I am bummed, but I am still hopeful that the price will drop in the next several months.

I am so sorry. I feel really bad you didn't get one. Over at the Cricut MB I heard similar stories. I did get one. I went to WalMart on Thursday to see the melee. I didn't want an Imagine but I went to crafts so I could see it. My store had five. I went back Friday evening. I should say about Saturday morning since it was around midnight. I went to crafts and there were two Imagine's left. My DH wanted me to have one since it came out. I didn't want one due to the size, price, size, drama's, size. You know the Imagine is huge, lol. My DH bought me one. I have fallen in love with it. Now, I feel like I am torturing you. I am sorry. Have you tried CricutMachine for a deal. I heard there are some great deals over there right now. Some WalMart's are getting returns from them. A lot of people just found the machine too hard to use or frustrating. There was a server overload this weekend at ProvoCraft due to everyone updating their Imagines. WalMart might have a return and they will still honor the price. I hope you get one.
