I just wanted to Thank all of you. My husband is in the Air Force 17 years now. He had been stationed at McConnell AFB (Wichita, KS) for all those years. Wichita was my hometown, never thought I'd say this, but I miss it. We moved to Goldsboro, NC. 9 months ago. This has been a hard year for me. Since my 2nd child I have had bouts of depression. This move really sent me into a tail spin. If it wasn't for this website I think I would have gone home several months ago. Since I was told about this site, I have been more motivated then ever to stamp. The hardest thing for me about moving was leaving all my friends back home. But I get on this site and I lurk most of the time, but I feel like I never left there. As I am writing this I am getting teary eyed. All of you who share your posts have made me so much more inspired. I know that there are others out there who have it worse then me. But it is nice to know that there is a site where someone can go and feel like you have been here all your life.
Thank you all & hope you have a Merry Christmas
There are so many of us who have found a new home here and lots of new friends! So glad you found this site and your new home!!
Merry Christmas from one of your new friends!!

I agree with you! The moment you step foot in this wonderful place called SCS you find a great new home and friends. I'm glad you find some comfort here. I do as well. Everyone here is just great! Have a very Merry Christmas from Washington to you!
Melody - I am right there with you, girl! Since we came to Japan in June, life has seemed like one big challenge, and being so far from my "stamping buds" back home has been hard. But I feel like I have a whole new stamping family now. This site is the BEST! And since I am a few hours ahead of y'all and it is 12/25 here, let me say......MERRY CHRISTMAS to all! Hope Santa brings you lots of stamping goodies

Ditto here! It's wonderful to have this site and have Stampin' Buddies all over the country.
I moved last year from Illinois to San Antonio. My husband is in the military as well. It was hard in the beginning not knowing anyone. Then I met the bestest friend you can have...Jenn. She is a gem. And we became heavily involved (=addicted) to this website. I love this place.
Merry Christmas from snow-free but cold San Antonio. May God bless you whereever you are! Big cyber hug!
Hi Melody! My family lives in Goldsboro! I go home every summer to visit my parents. We'll have to get together and stamp! (because of course I always bring a huge suitcase FULL of stamping stuff!!!)
I lived there for a year while my hubby was stationed in Korea, and it was definelty hard to get used to small town life!
Glad you found SCS!

And their always glad you came...
I think these lines from the Cheers song pretty much sum up the feeling I get from chatting with others on SCS. It's such a wonderful group of people who come together here because of a passion we all share, yet are brought closer together by sharing much more of ourselves with eachother than just stamping. It's amazing that something as simple as a rubber stamp could bring so many people together to support and care about eachother. So, thanks from me too to everyone here at SCS!

Melody! I was born in Wichita! The Wesley Medical Center. Is it still there? Anyway, I thought hearing from someone who was born there (I only lived there until I was 1) might be nice.
Merry Christmas!
Catie
