Default Becoming an SU consultant question

Can someone let me know if I have to sign up under an existing SU consultant or can I just join through SU's website? And once I join do I have to wait for my starter kit to arrive before placing customer orders online? Thank you in advance for replying! I know I will receive much support from this great online community! :-)

I'm pretty sure you have to sign up under someone. If you don't have a demo now, search on the site for demos near you and interview them to find one you feel would be a good fit.

I think you can start placing orders as soon as your demo number is assigned. That happens fairly quickly - probably while your kit is enroute to you.

Good luck to you and have fun!

1. Yes, you need to sign up under an existing demonstrator. It is only when SU enters a new country that new recruits are direct under the company.

2. You can start placing orders online as soon as you receive your demonstrator number, which is pretty soon if you sign up, online, through your recruiting demonstrator's website. You might, however want to wait since new demonstrators receive an additional 10% instant income on their first workshop order placed.

If you have any additional questions just ask your potential upline, or feel free to send me a PM and I'll answer them as best as I can.

Good luck with your venture.

at the stampin up website stampinup.com click on the Opportunities tab at the top to find out more details and download the forms you will need.

Use the Demonstrator Locator to find someone near you, or find someone online that you luv reading their posts or seeing their crafts - you can actually sign up on their website. You will need a password from the demo, so email them or call - you probably want to look around for someone that feels right for you. Email a few and ask questions, attend a few events, meet for coffee and get the real skinny on the deal... You can do it alone - alot of Demos do with the support of the forums or their own gumption, but its nice to have someone as your Go-to-Gal for questions and help, and just to craft with! Some great friendships are formed through demonstrators!

Now is a GREAT time to sign up - Sale-a-Bration has an additional 15% off the starter kits, and you get extra stamp sets! Score!
Best of luck to you! :-)

Just like someone else mentioned ... I would suggest finding a demo that suits YOU. Interview them... Good Luck in your hunt
