Default Archival Spray?

Hey Everyone! I am very new to all this, but have loved what I've done so far. I'm working on a 12x12 album...and very curious to know whether there is such thing as an "archival spray" to spray onto things that may not be acid free..... I kind of heard a rumour of such things.....just wondering! Anyone who knows anything..I'd love to hear from ya!!

Thumbs up

Yes there is such a thing.
It is called Archival Mist made by Preservation Technologies, L.P. (800) 416-2665 ; www.ptlp.com . This comes straight from the package. I paid $39.95 for 5.3 oz. It has the push pump like the pampered chef oil sprayer. You use this on anything you think might not be acid free (like newspaper). The front of the box states it safely protects Scrapbook Materials; Newspaper Clippings; Certificates/Awards; And much more! The contents states it contains alkalinebuffer (magnesium oxide) in a water-free formula to neutralize acid in paper. It also says not to spray directly on photographic surfaces.

Hope this is waht you were looking for

I have the Archival Mist. My canister eventually quit working. I believe I saw that Krylon has also come out with a similar product.
