Default Aqua Painter?

I've seen this mentioned on several threads but no clue of its use or where to locate one... Could someone explain?

I may never have a use for it, but now I WANT one!

an aqua painter is a brush attached to a plastic tube which you can fill with water. when you want to paint you just squeeze the tube and a little water gets the brush wet. I bought mine at a local stamp shop. I think all the craft stores sell them.

Thank you, Bedazzled. I was just coming back to delete my question after doing a search for the Aqua Painter. Found the info I needed and didn't want to clutter the board.

Thanks again.

Here's link to some threads that discuss the aqua painter. Also an tip sheet attachment that I got here on SCS. I really use mine a lot.

Default Gum Arabic

I love my Aqua Painters too. Sometimes when I used it the paper would get too wet so I purchased a bottle of gum arabic at Michael's. I put about a half teaspoon of GA in with the water and I no longer have that problem. It doesn't muck up the Aqua painter at all and lasts a LONG time.

Thank you to those who responded. As far as I know, there are no SU demos in my area. Anyway I can get a catty?
