Default Is this appropriate for a sympathy card?

I used lovely as a tree and the image in really nice but I don't have a sympathy stamp for the card. I was thinking of using a stamp from God's Way:
Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you and help you. - Isaiah 41:10
To me this is saying look to God for comfort and strength when you need it most.
This is a sad, sad situation. A good friend and co-worker of mine lost his brother. His brother was visiting for my friends daughters first holy communion. Everbody went to bed the night before, the brother stayed up and at one point went outside on the deck. Apparently he fell sometime during the night. The next morning my friend went to look for his brother and found him outside ... he had died of blunt trauma to the head from the fall. It's a huge shock to the family ... and he was young with two very young children. It's just so sad ...
Please let me know if you think this verse is appropriate or not. I'm terrible at knowing what the right thing to do is at times like these.
Thanks for taking a minute to help me!

I think that is a very nice sentiment for a sympathy card.

I agree -- it is a lovely sentiment to express at a time like this -- so sorry for the tragedy. -- Sharon

I bought that set partly because I thought that stamp was a much more heartfelt sympathy than the standard type. I knew I would be able to use it for close friends and others who I know believe in what it says.

This is what we we seek in such times of despair...God's strength! It's the perfect verse.

Thanks ya'll ... I know I personally felt it was a nice sentiment but it's good to know I'm not alone in my opinion! Thank you very much for your advice and kind words.
