Hello!
I was just wondering if anyone was getting stamping stuff for Mother's Day? I have been leaving hints all around for DH but I don't know if he caught on yet. I left a note this morning saying that gift certificates from the LSS are welcome or money.
Trust me, he needs the hints as I remember Mother's days when he forgot all about to get me something. Including a card. It took along time to live them down. I can see 1 year, but 2 in a row? I thought he would have learned from the first one!LOL
I named off a bunch of stuff I'd like craft-wise this morning when DH kept asking me what I wanted. By the glazed look in his eyes, I'm guessing that a gift certificate is possibly in my near future. ;)
My little one (3) says he is buying me three stamps! Three is his favorite number. I am not sure if my dh will take him to buy them! I am sure they will be trucks or something. I have to work tomorrow so they have time!

Actually, I told my DH that I would like a new grill for Mothers Day as ours is just about to fall into pieces on the porch. Well, I had lunch with my Dad today and was telling him and told him that my DH made a wise comment to my request. Fast forward to tonight, my Dad pulls in with a new grill on the back of his pick up truck for me! While it was a nice surprise, I feel bad for my Hubby. After my Dad left he said well, so much for my Mothers day present. Now I have to think of something else. Poor honey, I knew he would get me one as he knew ours was in rough shape, but to have his thunder stolen.

Aw, that's so cute! Mine are quite so cute any more...they're 13 and 15 and only think of themselves most of the time!
I think the hubster is getting me a digital photo frame for me to showcase my cards at workshops.
Well, my family never buys me stamps.. I'm lucky to get a bunch of flowers... If I don't get anything I'll get myself something next week and then I can say 'thanks' for the MD gift.. lol
My DH said he refuses to get me any more stamping stuff. My five year old DS told me that Daddy is trying to trick me and got me lots of craft stuff. My five year old showed him what I am always looking at at Joann's and Micheal's. It's so cute of both of them!
No hints here. I actually went to the Craft Warehouse and wrote down in detail of what I wanted -including the area of the store, and shelf location of where they are!! He can't go wrong and likes it that way!!
Location: Somewhere in the middle...closer to there, nearer to here...

I'm getting a Scor-Pal! Yeah! Been wanting this thing for so long! When I told my husband what I wanted, he just said, "So, can I drive you there and just go in and pay for it so I get the right one?" What a dear! After 19 years, I've finally got the man trained! Our anniversary is next week...is that tacky to ask for stamping stuff for that too? You know the move, "What a Girl wants.." or something to that effect... I know and it comes from places like Archivers, Michael's and my lovely demo!
LOL! Well my poor hubby doesn't stand a chance if he forgets mother's day this year as it's our wedding anniversary! Plus the fact that he took me to the shop to show me what he wanted to get me - it wasn't crafting but it's still something I wanted.
BTW - "we" got my mother a Margarita maker! Woohoo and of course it would be rude not to help her break it in ;)
I find that being subtle works wonders. I e-mail the man at work with the URL, item number, price, amount and shipping. Hey... for him... that's subtle! HA! Seriously, he appreciates it as long as I send him several choices so he still feels like he's 'picked' the gift. Otherwise, he would be clueless to what I really like, want, *need*...

I will be happy if my dh gets the laminate floor done in my room so that I can start setting up my craft room again. I haven't been able to stamp all week as all my supplies are scattered from room to room. I'm missing it terribly!!!
The Premier Designs lady got to my husband before I could start dropping hints! Curse her... LOL At least my husband bought something for my mom for he was at it!
I got my present pretty early - it's space for me downstairs to leave my stuff set up - tw0 4 1/2 feet tables, 2 9 foot shelves and some peg board....I love it!
My husband asked me what I wanted. When I told him a score-pal. He asked if I knew where to get it and could I just order it! Yeah! I've wanted one for awhile now!

My DH got me the Cricut design studio. He found that out when he got home from work las night, lol.
This is how we work, too. I just get what I want and he'll find out after the fact. I bought some new CB folders and die cuts online yesterday so that'll be part of my Mother's Day gift...heehee.
Well, my birthday is today with Mother's day tomorrow. I have been hinting that a cuttlebug would sure make a nice present. Not going to happen though. I guess I will have to settle with kids sort of cleaning, and sort of doing laundry. (If I still have to fold it is that much help?)
I have been saying for the last 3 or 4 years that I want my car washed and detailed. I haul the kids around and they can get it quite messy. They haven't done it yet, so I'm probably going to order myself some SU stuff and call it Mother's Day. And I'll probably take my car to get it detailed, too.
