Another gallery question

Sorry about all the questions, but I'm in the process of setting up my own gallery... YIPPEE!!! and hoping I'm doing everything ok.

1-how long does it take to get out of "image pending"
2-I read somewhere a while back that someone was a bit upset that someone had posted a bunch of pictures during the day and that when she went to click on the "view 1 day" button, that much of the new additions where this one member's.

Now I just took all the pictures that I want to add into my gallery and if I had to guess, I would say that I have between 25-35 pictures.
Is this too many to do in one day?
Should I spread it out over the week?
Or can I put these all up today and then as I go making stuff I can upload a couple at a time?

During the day, not long at all. I usually stay up till 12:30 CST or so approving, then Beate gets the morning shift. Lately, she's been slacking. . . so it takes longer to get them up at night. Once school starts, it will get better!

Yes, but don't let that deter you. Many people upload 3 at a time, and their stuff shows in the order the server received it. You can only do 3 at a time right now, so chances are if you upload during the day it won't be just your stuff for pages and pages.

I say share away. Just make sure that if you use SU stamps, they are properly categorized in the gallery, that your file names are unique. . . and I'll have my finger hovering over the "approve" button.

And please don't forget to include the "recipe"! I think people get upset when someone uploads tons of cards all in one day and doesn't bother to include all the information about what went into making the card. I know that I am less inclined to take the time to comment on a card if the poster hasn't taken the time share pertinent information.

Very well said Happy Heart. To me the gallery is to share ideas and if a newbie to stamping sees a card that looks difficult they may pass it up until they read the description and find out what to use to achieve the look. That's what it's all about!
