I agree the new catty is excellent too... I have too many pages marked for things that I "need"!

I don't know any of y'all but, I've been an Angel for a few years now, just off in the background here on SCS mostly, except with some of my TV friends... I've learned alot from reading this thread and hope y'all won't mind me continuing to read and learn!

I've already bookmarked the paperwings page to use as a resource guide.

I'd also like to add my 2 cents to the white cardstock... I LOVE LOVE LOVE our 100# weight for using as my card base, it give such a nice quality to the cards that I make. I've received some that are not done with a nice weight and they just seem to not hold up to the rest of the embellishments... okay, maybe that was 3 or 4 cents worth! I have not tried the new caboodle cardstock, I have marked it and will order some and give it a try... I'm always open to new things...

Again, hope I can linger longer here...

Hey I have a question the card in the Catalog with the horse. How did you make it?
A free sign up is definately a good thing.

Hey Nancy...What I did was inked up the horse with the Versamagic Chalk ink and then I came back and "kissed" (basically I inked up my second image, the awesome blossom stamp) the inked horse with the flower stamp. That second image I inked in Palette ink (reinking each time). Once I had the horse covered, I stamped on white paper and pressed nice and hard! ;)

Hope you liked it!

Chris, I've been staring at the card in the catalog for days wondering how you did it. I have that set and would love to "reproduce" it. You inked the horse with the turquoise colored ink, inked the flower stamp with the grey-ish ink, pushed the two together and stamped the horse? How did you get multiple colors on horse?

 That's so neat to hear Paula! I did ink the horse with the turquoise but then I used Burnt Umber (palette) on the two flower stamps. For some reason when I stamped onto the horse I got a fading of the two colors. I laid the stamps down without rocking them but not too light of a touch either.

I hope that helps!

PS. I was born, grew up and got married in Naperville!

Hey Barb aka Betsy, which do you prefer to be called?

Linger as long as you wish.
All Angel threads are open to anyone and everyone.

I am in total agreement on our cardstock, and I understand what you are saying. I have participated in swaps and received these fabulous looking cards, but they are on flimsy cardstock, and I think...why?
You have this stunning card that the beauty is taken away because you didnt use quality cardstock.

Question: Why are some prices of stamp sets in the catalog crossed out with a lower price in red? Are those special deals (like SOTM) or is the lower price what we pay no matter when we order?

Paula...that's their "roll back" prices to reflect the economy! So you just pay the lower price. They used to be the original price in the older catalogs but now they have reduced prices not only on the stamps but the papers too! I'm really psyched about that part because I hope more folks will try the paper now. The 12 x 12 packages (Soar with it Collection) are the thickness of Basic Grey and we've paired it with Bazzill cardstock for perfect matches.

So long story short - you pay the lower price as long as the catalog is out, which each one is good for a year, including the magalogues (our spring and fall supplements).

Unfortunately all of the sites are down right now...hopefully it's going to pop up again this weekend. sigh...

When you do look at an online catalog, always be sure to check out the Serendipty and Inspiration Ave tabs ... there are stamps tucked in there too! It's kinda like a treasure hunt!

I love to read this thread with all the buzz about the catty!! It's energizing to read all the comments here!

I know my customers are loving it!!! My first catalog party was for $500!! I am sooooo excited! and that was for only 4 of my customers, isn't that awesome?

The new catalog is just better and better, all the new stamps, the copic, the tools, the 2 new lines and everything else, it's just perfect! I love that I went to Seminar and all the excitement we came with from fellow angels!

Hope that TAC's name get out there more than ever, I know there is a lot of people that haven't try TAC, so I think this is the perfect time to do it! Can't wait to see what Mischelle has in store for the Inspiration!!!

Love,
Diana

You're not going to be able to see the card. We are talking about. Our Catalog online isn't like the one that SU has.

You'll be able to see the Stamp set. No samples of Cards.

But if you contact a Demo near you. you'll be able to get a Catalog. Then you can look at the samples.
