My tree has been up and completely decorated since November 11th! My wrapping was done the weekend of Thanksgiving as well. I just can't help myself!!!
For those of you not having a good year, not feeling well and not finshed with cards and shopping yet, I wish you all the best and hope that next year is better!
I just finished addressing my cards. Well...the ones I completed any way. That's about 25. I still have more to make. My shopping is done but I have to wrap everything, not to mention still make the gift tags. I still have to do all my baking as well. I give tin cans of cookies to people at work, so I have to get those done pretty soon!!!
I also just finished my classes at college as well as just took (and passed!!!) my state exams to become matriculated so I can get my certificate to become an elementary teacher. I had to wait until all that was done before I could even think about making my Christmas cards.
Does anyone else have so much going on that they need to go day by day and accomplish one obstacle before they even think about the next commitment they have??

I thought I was done with my cards, but DH keeps thinking of one more person. I only made 45 cards, but the last 10 have not made it into the mail box yet. I just decorated the tree tonight, and we have our 7 year old grandson with us for the week. I am not done with my Christmas shopping. I still need to make 6 6x6 scrapbooks and get them in the mail. I have not wrapped a thing, but I will take time on Tuesday to attend a high tea with about 70 Red Hatters. Only so many hours in the day. I will just have to plan better for next year. Merry Christmas everyone. Gail
This year I feel great! I finished 24 cards that I gave to a friend, 43 that I mailed out last week, 12 that I'm taking to work, plus I have 3 in reserve for any that I might need to send out to someone that I didn't send but received from. Whew - that was a chore, but I had fun doing them all. (I started in October by the way.) I just love all the responses on handmade cards that its worth every minute I put into making them.
I'm glad to have read your post, I was beginnng to even wonder about sending any Christmas cards out. I am also a fairly new demo and with a 2 year old baby girl running around, "stamping" has become a real challenge. I like what many of the other ladies said "I might be sending them out by New Year's", but at least they'll be going out. Hang in there!

Happy Holidays,

When I worked and was really busy with family I used to say:
" I'm first in line for next year!"

Don't feel bad - you're definitely not the only one. I did get most of my cards done and out, but I ran out and was scrambling to make a few extras last night when I realized I'd forgotten a couple of people.
On another note, I'm a little disappointed (as usual) with the feedback I've received from them. I sent out mini catalogs and hand stamped cards to all my customers and haven't heard a peep! I also sent out little magnetic notepads I got at the dollar store to all my co-workers (who all work in different states) along with gorgeous hand stamped cards. I've gotten thank yous for all the notepads, but not a peep about the durn cards! I don't know if I did such a great job that they think they are store bought, or what, but I don't think I'll go to the trouble next year - grrrr! It's really annoying to go to so much trouble when people just don't appreciate it!
