Default alternative to blending stumps--yes, I'm a dork!!!

Let me preface this by saying that we're moving in 2 weeks, so a moratorium has been placed on acquiring new supplies. Well, the other day while cleaning out I found a tin of low odor paint thinner, and was excited to try the colored pencil blending trick. The bad news is that I don't have any of the stumps, so my mind starting working overtime to think of an alternative. The answer was lollipop sticks because they're made out of rolled paper like the stumps. They may not be ideal, but my dh can't give me a hard time about them because they were already here!

warmly,
anne

p.s. anybody in the Glendale, AZ area want to stamp with me when we make the move next month?

Considering my abilities I think that they worked out beautifully. I plan on continuing to use them. This will make my children happy because they'll get the lollipops.
