I have a clipboard that I want to alter. I am going to cover it with a piece of SU DSP. The problem is that it is about 1/2 short of covering the entire board. Do I just have a odd sized clipboard? The other examples I have seen look like the paper fits fine.
Does any one have any suggestions on what I can do? I don't want it to look like I am just filling in the empty spot...
I can CASE anything but not very good at coming up with my own ideas!
Thanks for any suggestions. Would love to see some examples.
I also want to make other items for a desk set so would appreciate any other suggestions!
I usually paint the base of my clipboard with a color that looks nice with my papers and that way the "edges" look nice if the paper doesn't completely cover it.
HTH
I also use a coordinating piece of paper for that 1/2 inch up at the top. Sometimes I'll cut another piece of paper that's the same pattern. Just depends.
Tip: If you plan on doing this a lot, make yourself a template for cutting around the clip part of the board! It will save you much trouble.....
