Okay....I am beyond having trouble narrowing down what set I am going to use, not even talking about designing! I have been going crazy trying to get this ironed out...it's been on my mind ALL week.
I know I am going to use either Sketch it, Border Builders, Snowflake or Tags & more...but Favorite Teddy has crossed my mind.
Then COLORS....real red, brocade blue, bliss blue, ballet blue, forest foliage, baroque burgandy and green galore...
I have been scouting out something to case for hours now...I have been up since 4 a.m. as I have been DREAMING about Christmas cards!
I used 4 or was it 5 different sets?? hmmmm well anyway did get all my cards done, with the help of my DD of course!! I might do a few more because I just bought 2 new Christmas sets this year and didn't use them on my cards, because took so long to get them when I was in the mood to stamp my cards!! ;)
I'm feeling your pain! I have been working on my design for almost a month! Thought I'd get done early.
Intended to use A Child is Born, but am having the HARDEST time coming up with something with only 2 images!! Then, I've entertained the idea of switching to another set because I have many to choose from - but then makes me mad because I bought a child...for this specific reason! UGH!
I too, feel your pain...I found a charlie brown christmas stamp I just had to have, and I stared at that thing for MONTHS trying to figure out what to do with it...I finally ironed out my idea last week, went to LSS for some patterned paper and LO and BEHOLD, out of stock....geesh, anyway, finally found another PP, decided on CS and ink, and got everything cut over the weekend.....you will decide, and I am sure it will be gorgeous...Kerilou
Yeah I really try not to buy a set for a specific purpose...because that will ensure brain farting for me!
I choose sets that are versatile and that I can think of at least 5 projects right off the bat for...I'm wierd that way I suppose.
I am leaning towards Favorite Teddy....maybe Snowflakes...OH it never ends.
I bought "The Gift of Love" just for the reason of making Christmas cards. I had no idea what I wanted to do with it before I bought it. I must of searched for days before I got an idea I liked. I then changed it numerous times before finally getting one I approved. My DH said they were all fine but he was just being kind IMHO. Now the task of getting them all made. There is still plenty of time.

I have about 100 designs I want to do, but if I did, each card would be different. I'm thinking that would not be very practical. I will probably end up doing about 5 or 6 designs just because I don't like doing the same card over and over again.
I have to do the same card over and over again. It would cause me major stress trying to figure out who gets which card if I had different ones. :(

Okay ladies...I have worked for 2 hours straight trying to get my design down!!!
I will post it after it dries. I used one of JulieHRR's for inspiration. I am quite please with it....
I can't get it to scan so that it shows how fun the card is....the colors are off, the images is not clean...so....let me play with my card scanning some more and see if I can get it to look better.
