Hello, I need some advice, please
I am moving overseas to help my husband care for his mother who is ill and need to get my stamps and supplies sold to good homes. It's breaking my heart but I don't see going back to stamping any time soon. I am talking about 2000 + stamps, a lot of the brand new, about half wood mounted. all is pristine condition (I am one of those who takes care of my stamps like a nutcase lol)
also have 10 bins full of DSP, plain and designer series, stamping pads, dies, embossing folders, 4 big shots etc etc
what is the best way to go about it?
this life changing has taken us by surprise, i only have 1 month to do it an getting really anxious
Any ideas?
thank you so much!
Anne
Also through the Facebook sell groups, there are buyers that would be interested in buying your entire collection, paying you a lump sum, driving to your location to box it up/pick it up, then that buyer will resell to make their profit. For the stress it would save you under your time restraint of one month, this might be a good option for you, though you would probably need to be willing to take less than if you sold everything pieced out.

Wait-if you are not selling the house...I might just leave it alone. You can always sell it off later? If you come back in a year or three-why assume you wont want to do this anymore?
Do you know if you have a crafting community around you? You could try a 1-2 day garage sale dedicated to just that ( and other stuff you may need to re-home) and list it in the local papers/online. Be sure to note you have a lot of NEW card making supplies at great prices.
Otherwise what ozarkstamper said might be your best down and dirty fast way out which with only one month to do this seems necessary. But I hear you...sending (((hugs))) this is not a fun thing.
hmm...One other choice-if you have a crafting buddy...they could take it and sell it for you at their own pace online and you give them a good share of the money for doing it. You might see more money that way.

Is there any way that you could put all of those supplies in storage? As @wavejumper said, if you're not moving permanently, why not just leave them for now? Maybe you could bring just a small portion of your supplies with you and see if you use them first.
Add me to the 'Don't see it all' camp if you're not moving permanently.. You could take some faves with your, or leave it all at home.
The other thing I might do in your situation is downsize the stash.. I am currently working on that. I am giving myself a set amount of space for each category (paper, stamps, inks, etc). With the stanps I am grouping them by theme & then choosing my faves in each category.
