Default Adhesive Mishap

Okay - so I've been umounting my stamps using the Aileen's Tack it Over and Over. Boy is that stuff messy. So I thought there were so many, I would try my Xyron machine. Works well.

Until I put in a stamp the wrong way and now there is adhesive on the wrong side. Very nice, sticky adhesive.

What works well to clean this stuff off?!??!

TIA!!

I have found Goo Gone works well on really sticky problems...like when kids decide the best place to put their gum when they are done is smashed into the carpet. Just wash the stamp well after you are done cleaning it.

I'm another vote for goo gone. Some people don't like to use it (it says not to use it on rubber on the bottle), but I haven't had anything bad happen to any of the stamps I've used it on. Just make sure to wash the stamp as soon as you can with soapy water to get the residue off the stamp otherwise your new film of adhesive won't work (and you don't want the goo gone sitting on your stamp just in case).

Undu is my favorite adhesive remover. When you are finished clean your block with rubbing alcohol that will take away residue from your cleaners.

Oh girls.
Ya'll are gonna laugh at my update!!!

I've unmounted my wheels -- and ran one through my Xyron to attach the cling. In a little section near the edge, some of the xyron stuff came away with the release paper so I thought, "I'll just dab a little TIOAO on there".

So I'm squeezing some of that glue on and suddenly....

....WHOOOOSH.......

The cap comes off my TIOAO and that stuff goes everywhere!! Not just on my stamp and counter. Behind me and onto my stove, the floor, the counter.

And now I know why my 3 year old has been going around the last few days saying 'unnngghhh' in a weird grunting sound when something doesn't work the way he wants it to!! good thing I'm not prone to cursing, huh?!!

I could not make these mishaps up if I tried! LOL!!!!
