The paper industry is pushing back on all things digital and has a great website that includes this awesome list of 100 reasons to actually take that paper card and put it in the mail!
Great list! I've emailed the link to my card-making friend back East (who is responsible for the fact that I even make cards). I'm sure that she'll enjoy it as much as I did!
This is such a great list. I just printed it. Thanks for sharing it with us.

You know the saying:Keep on trucking! Well, keep on Card Making. Thanks for sharing. More inspiration. There is nothing like getting a handmade card. In addition, receiving a card I had made just keeps me smiling and creating more cards.

LOVED reading that delightful list! Happy to say that I've been sending out blueberry season cards for several years (July/August). Everyone expects Christmas cards, so I choose other holidays to highlight my handmade cards. There are Internet lists of nationally declared days, weeks, months and years. It's so easy to find an unusual day to celebrate! One of these sites is National Day Calendar (sorry, don't know how to link). You can look at future months to see what's coming. Today is National Soft Ice Cream Day...who knew? Such fun!
Great ideas!! One year I was swamped and didn't get to send out Christmas cards. When February rolled around and my life had settled down a bit, I sent Valentines to everyone on my Christmas card list. I can't tell you how many people said that they liked them better because it helped break up the winter.
