My dr visit was intensive...I am now hooked up to a portable monitor to check my heart rate and I'm supposed to write down when I get dizzy and what I'm doing when...hopefully, there will be answers soon!

Today was the best mail day ever!!! I received THREE RAKs and I'm sooo excited! Every one of them was awsome!!! Here they are:
I got this beautiful black and white one from Vicki! Thank you sooo much, I love black and white! This is stunning and I love that stamp set!!
I love this beautiful pink b-day card the I got from ducki and babyducki!!! So sweet and I totally love this stamp set. I don't have it, but you are making me want it!! Thanks for thinking of me!!!
And I got THE cutest little post-it holder purse from Cindy-lou-who!!! It has my favourite little turtle on it too AND prima flowers!! I feel so special!! Thank you Cindy!! You da bomb!!!

I can't view your cards...I get this box that says I'm not allowed to view those cards...what gives??? Anyone have that problem? I can see the other people's cards fine???

RAK from tish101
Yesterday I received a RAK from tish101. wow what a beautiful card. I love it, only they have my birthday wrong. It is August 4th not February 4th. So I will save it and it will be new again in 6 months. Tish you are an angel

Well, maybe in a few!!!! I had to go to the sbs on the other side of town and while there Jack's mom called and said she forgot her watch and NEEDED it. SO back to his house to go (basically) back to the same area as the scrapbook store!!!!! Just now back and need to get JAck in bed for nap so maybe in about an hour!
Oh I hate that back and forth driving! Makes me nuts! I am a homebody and like everything that I have to do outside the home grouped together!
Well, it's been an hour, and I met MaryR for lunch!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but no surprise yet? Aw comeon!

SO SORRY NADELLE!!! I was kinda waiting on Cindy to call me, she kinda forgot what she had told me when I started this!!!!! CRAZY GIRL!!!! It is coming I promise (unlike Jack who said he would rest in his bed!!!) grr little turkey is playing with his trains I think! Haven't gone up there yet!

I have thought for awhile that we need to try and see if we can mix things up a bit here.... What do u think????
I think that maybe I could come up with (or u all can email me ideas) some ways to help us get "jump started" in our card making! Especially since quite a few of us are really more into the scrapbooking thing! SO.....
My idea for this month (now granted U do not have to do it!!! Just thought that it would be neat!) that we make and send SQUARE cards to each other.
What do you think?? We all receive the regular (rectangle) cards but I know that when Amber (yes u can blame her if u would like!!!) made me my bday card I really thought that it was COOL!!! and she is NEW to this whole thing!!!!
I wanted to make sure that everyone could join in so hence the reason for such a BROAD thing.
AND U NEVER KNOW WHAT MIGHT COME ALONG!!!!!!!
At this point there are no prizes or anything except the greatness of receiving and sending cool "SQUARE" cards!!!!
Let me know what u all are thinking!!!!!!! I can see the smoke from here!!!! BE CAREFUL!!!!!!
Other than the littl ebit of extra postage it takes, I think square cards can be so pretty! They can also be a jumping off point for a 6x6 page or a progressive page layout (6x6 to 8 1/2 x 11 to 12 x12)...hmmm, this could be the start of something really great!

OMG this website is dangerous. I was making grilled cheese for the triplets dinner and then I went into the laundry room and found a pile of clothes from my husband to wash! Then I completely forgot about the grilled cheese and I was reading this thread until I smelt something burning. YIKES their dinner is a bit burnt. Still didn't get to the surprise! bummer.
