Melanie’s Pumpkin bread
3 c. sugar
2/3 c. cooking oil
4 eggs
2 c. pumpkin
3 1/3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp each cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice
2/3 c. water
Mix together sugar and cooking oil. Add eggs and pumpkin. Sift flour with the dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture alternating with 2/3 c. water. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Makes 2 large loaves.

I was thinking of making the bread to take with us on our trip. But now I might have to make the pound cake instead

my dad was glad to have the bread, said it saved him from pumpkin muffins at dunkin donuts everyday...lol
USPS priority picked up my package 3:30 pm on Monday. He received it on Tuesday...that's priority!

Not from Michigan, we live in the same state now. I did from NC, but never from here...that actually worked well and I'm sure I will do it again. Just to give mom a small mental attack, I will write Personal and Confidential on his next box...she doesn't like him to have snacks

I was following the bow tutorial tonight...but I only got as far as folding the strips...because they don't have the brad holding it all together, the strips are popping apart...lol...I'm such a good crafter...
