Okay I finish feeding them lunch put them up for naps and go to check on the rug and slippers in my washing machine. I washed them with cold water and put it on delecate.
Well, my rug just fell apart! The rubber lining was all over my washer! Can't you wash bashroom rugs? Okay in the trash this rug goes and now I have to purchase a new bathroom rug.

I always wash my bathroom rugs. Yesterday I washed my two kitchen rugs which are rags type rugs with read, pink, orange, green in them and I tossed in the green rug from the back entry. I should have thought before I did it. The red in the rag rugs ran. My green rug is now brown and the two towels I tossed in were reddish brown. I tossed the towels and think I'll toss the green rug too. The two rag rugs look fine.
So if anyone else had thoughts about washing their rugs this weekend - think twice

Melanie, I washed mine last week. It has taken several washings before the rubber backing started to fall off. But I know what you mean by the staining from other colors. This has happended also. but what else would you do with them to get the clean????
Laura - you just have to laugh at the chaos. I can't believe your rug fell apart, I wash my a lot and some rubber usually goes each time, but not much. I usually fold it once rubber to rubber and stick it in the washer. Well, it's nice to get new rugs once in awhile anyway.

Lindsey and I cleaned out my van and did some straightening and tossing and sweeping in the garage. I need a third stall that I can convert into a locker room!
well, those vet bills add up fast! and you don't want her to be having something serious anyway. or painful. Hopefully it is just a rash and a bit of ointment will take care of it. I wonder if there is anything OTC for it? or how you would know. can you just talk to the vet on the phone about it before you make an appt?

I'll have to call them and see if they think she needs to come in right away. I don't have a vehicle at the moment so transportation will be tricky.

I think they would make great Christmas gifts. She said she put some spa/pedicure items in one of here - although you'd have to be sure they would fit IN and OUT of the neck
quotes - it seems like I'll see ones I like in mags/books/wherever, but I don't write them down. I need a quotes journal like Sally has a techniques journal!
I just did something really stupid. I was trying to navigate through the website as normal and instead of opening up the forum, a new browser would pop up. I was freaking out because the computer was not working as it should. DH came out to look at it and it was normal. He left thinking I just lost it and then it happened again. What happened was my boob was pressing the control key down. Now I'll never hear the end of it.
