Just found out that a close family friend is battling breast cancer so this is the perfect challenge for me. I am off to clean the house so I have the rest of the day to create. Be back in a little to show off what I made.

Here's mine, such as it is. It's not my favorite card, but I wanted to participate in the challenge. I may make another one, or case one of the others I like better, as I want to send one to Bre'Anna and Alicia. They are both battling cancer. See the link to their stories below.
Here is mine. What a hard challenge, but in retrospect living life with cancer is a harder challenge. Best of luck to all of those suffering or to those who have loved one's. My mother died 11 years ago with ovarien cancer so I can relate.
This is a GREAT challenge! I love the return to simple and quick! I am lucky enough to not know anyone diagnosed with cancer, so I made a card for Maddy Mason! For those of you who are- or know somebody- battling cancer, my heart and good wishes go out to you! Here is my card and TFL!
Here's my card - I had fun using some of my favorite colors that I've put away since the new fun ones came out! TFL LSC137 by Kjpp at Splitcoaststampers

Great challenge!! My pastor's wife is a survivor who is having a lump removed on Monday that is precancerous (not cancer yet but has a big potential since she's had it before)...my upline and really good friends' mom has pancreatic cancer...my former stamp lady before I became a demo is a breast cancer survivor...Lauren's (mytime) DD has leukemia...my aunt is going through treatments for cervical cancer...the list could go on and on and I lift a prayer for anyone who has cancer or knows someone who has it.
My MFT Think Pink set is on it's way to me...maybe it'll be there when I get home!
Thanks for guest-hosting a great challenge Carolyn!
Thank You Carolyn for a great challenge and for filling in. I needed to make one for a friend and will make her some thank you cards which I will post later.

Here's my entry for the LSC 137 challenge. It's in my JMumStamps gallery and under LSC137 gallery.
My friend's mother was just diagnosed with lung cancer and they were performing brain surgery this week to evaluate a growth in her brain. All of this is completely out of nowhere as she has been healthy all her life... It's very sad to hear cancer stories, but I hope this gives them a moment of smiles.
Rather than embellishments I pulled out my rarely used paper piercing tools. Thank you for giving me a starting point for my card for my friend. I will give it to her on Sunday when I take dinner over for her and her family.
