Hi everyone! Today is the last day of the 2019 Dare to Get Dirty Challenges so I thought I would give you an easy challenge. If you are playing along you can combine this with one of the DTGD challenges but it's certainly not a requirement!
So here is my challenge: Select a card you have uploaded to your gallery this week (or your most recent card if you haven't posted to your gallery this week) and add MORE or LESS. If the card you select is a very busy card, I want you to create a stripped down version, make it clean and simple. But if the card is clean and simple, I want you to create a new one with more layers or embellishments, just add MORE! Be sure to link the card you are changing so we can see the differences you made!
I have attached my samples below of the the CAS card I created earlier this week and the card I created for this challenge with just a little more.
Uploading: Remember the keyword is without spaces. Use a comma between keywords with a space after each comma.
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!
Need help linking a card? Follow these instructions!
1. Open 2 windows: One window for your card and one for this thread. 2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link. 3. Got to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on) 4. Click EDIT. Click COPY 5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE. You're done!
Wow! I don't know if I've ever managed to do this challenge, but Angie's challenge totally spoke to me. As my crafty time has shrunk, I'm all into trying to make a couple of cards with one image, but just making some changes to keep each one a bit different from the others.
I chose this card, which I'm making four versions of in four different colors:
Christmas Stars Shining on High--BLUE! It has four layers and is such a busy card, I thought one less layer would probably not even be noticed, and I was right.
