Happy New Year! Wishing you all health, time with those you love, and time to do what you love! Thank you for the inspiration you provide with your creations and the encouragement you provide with your comments. This thread couldn't thrive without all the caring SplitcoastStampers who take the time to recognize fellow crafters and share their favorites. That camaraderie and encouragement are what make this the best crafting site around!
It's time to spread some love and share your Favorite creations of 2023.
If you are new to the Favorites thread, welcome! We’re glad you joined us. Please see the second post for instructions and guidelines. Got a CAS card favorite? There will be a Best of CAS 2023. Look for that thread to be available soon.
If you have a creation from this last week that is not on your "WOW-this project knocked my socks off" list, we have made the weekly favorites available.
Our Fabulous Favorites team members are on the job delivering notifications and smiles every week: Lisa (Shoe Girl), Kia (kiagc), Janine (Jay_Bee), Brenda (tessaduck) and Amy (Kalla Walla) are on duty notifying and pinning from your lists.
Narrowing down my favorites was a challenge, but I was so thrilled to go through all my favorites for 2023. Here is my long list of Favorites for 2023!
You don't have to wait until you have a card in the Favorites threads. The more participation we have, the more fun and interesting this thread will be. You also DO NOT have to wait for a notice to post a thank you.
Please help the Favorites Teams by making sure:
That the LINKS in your Favorites List work correctly. WE ARE UNABLE TO NOTIFY LINKS THAT DO NOT WORK.
IMPORTANT NOTE: MS Word and other office software have format programming that conflicts with SCS programming. Either copy and paste the code directly into the SCS site orprepare your post in Wordpad, TextEdit or Notepad then copy and paste into SCS.
The card maker’sSCS NAME is shown, it really helps if their name is in color.
It really, really, helps if you have a BLANK LINE between each entry.
And please DO NOT use the “Quote” button to the side of the post when you post a thank you!! Replying with the “Quote” button causes the original message to be repeated. That can confuse the team, and we may notify people twice.
Did you find your way to this thread because someone listed one of YOUR creations as a favorite? In addition to saying thank you, we encourage you to pay that smile you're probably wearing right now forward by sharing a few of the cards/projects YOU listed in your favorites for this week.
Thank you , Lisa! I had forgotten about my circles in circles emerald card! I kind of like it. LOL. I wonder who I sent it to. Thank you so much for both the fave shout out and the notification!
Happy New Year!

I apologise for not having done this alphabetically - it totally wasn't on my radar, and making sure I have working links AND sorted is more than I think I can manage on a phone.
It's been a long busy year for me and I don't get as much gallery time as I used to, but I had a look at my favourites and here are the ones that most stand out:
Thank you so much, Sabrina for adding my Sending Prayers card to your yearly favorites list! I'm very excited about this honor! Hugs to you and to Lisa for the happy mail~

Oh Wow, Lisa. Big Thanks for including my Amazing Gladys card on your list of favs for the year. You not only started off my week with a big smile, you've started my New Year with a bang! Much appreciated. And thanks to you and the Fabulous Favorites Team for all their work sending us the happy news each week. Happy New Years Everyone. I hope it's a great year for all of us.
Thank you, Lisa, so very much for adding my Joyful Wreath card to your Best Of 2023 list!, and for sending me the happy mail, too! I am over the moon, you've made my day! I didn't get as many Christmas cards done as I wanted to this year, so this makes me very happy! Hugs!

Well - you have totally caught me with my mouth hanging open in Awe and Surprise!!! It's always a humbling experience to have a card chosen as Best of any year but my mind was not quite clicking when I opened the emails from Lisa this morning, so I was a bit confused when I started finding cards listed from earlier in the year . . . .
The coffee kicked in pretty quickly and I'm here to send my heartfelt thanks to Lisa for selecting "Tea Time for Vera" and Sabrina for "Wildflower Beauty" (a fave of mine) for this year's Best of Gallery! What a marvelous way to end 2023 !!
Lisa - you have outdone yourself today sending notifications for both the end of the week AND end of the year. Thank you!!

Lisa, I received your notification yesterday as I was travelling home from a family gathering. Adding my Shades of Blue card to your 2023 list of favourites was truly a surprise and couldn't have come at a better time. It lifted my spirits when I needed it most. Many thanks to you and Happy 2024 to everyone who contributes the success of SCS.

Here is my short list - Unfortunately, when I hit GO ADVANCED on my long list I got an error and lost it :( . If I have time later, I'll post some more.
Lisa, thank you for starting the Favorites of 2023 and doing all the notifications. I didn't get to spend a lot of time in the gallery this year and tried to limit my selections only one per person. I know I missed a lot of beautiful cards and other projects.
Thanks so much, Amy, for including my card on your list. I really appreciate your nod for this very special thread. Thanks again, Lisa, for taking the time to let me know. Wish both of you a very happy new year. Hugs, Sallie
