This thread is open to everyone and is a great way to recognize the work of SCS's many talented CAS artists.
There are really only two "rules" here on the thread:
The Gallery posts you link to should be in the CAS style...
-------------------------------
And what does it mean to be Clean and Simple?
It's all about the DESIGN.
Clean and Simple design is:
* Uncluttered,
* has lots of white or open space, and
* has one main focal point.
--------------------------------
...and they should be from the past week.
If you have favorites to share that don't fit as Clean and Simple, we encourage you to share those favorites in the Weekly Favorites Thread.
Did you find your way to this thread because someone listed one of YOUR creations as a favorite? In addition to saying thank you, we encourage you to pay that smile you're probably wearing right now forward by sharing a few of the cards/projects YOU favorite-ed this week.
If this is your first time being mentioned in this thread or you have a new blog we have blog badges found here in this post.
Need help linking your Favorites? Follow these steps:
1. Load this week's Favorites thread in your first browser tab. Scroll down and click the Go Advanced button.
2. Open a second tab (or a separate window). Go to the Gallery and click on "My Favorites."
3. Click on a card you have saved. At the top, highlight the web address. Hit Ctrl+C to copy.
4. Switch back to the first tab. Type the cardmaker's SCS name, add a couple of spaces and hit Ctrl+V to paste your link there. Hit Enter twice to add a blank line.
5. Repeat as many times as needed for all your links.
6. Click the Preview Post button and check that your links work. Then click the Submit Reply button.
Did ja miss me? I haven’t been able to make cards this week, but I did get to admire everyone else’s. so much to see this week! I had a hard time sticking to my rule of one favorite per person because so many made a lot of cards this week for the extra challenges.
Thanks ever so much, Lisa(x2) and Colleen, for including my cards on your lists. I truly appreciate it. Thank you, Karen, for taking the time to let me know. Hugs, Sallie
I can't believe the workload you folks have undertaken this last week! I know there are a few of you, but your dedication to make everyone feel valued through the avalanche of uplifting comments on our creations is highly commendable. And then to go through looking for CAS cards in the thick of the DTGD event—very selfless, and tiring, I'm sure! So a very special thanks to all who gave CAS mentions this week, not just to me, but to all the recipients! I'm sure everyone applauds your generosity with your time, and your heart for cardmakers!! #applause!!
Lisa, what a sweet surprise to learn that you added 2 of my cards to your favorites list! Thank you so much! Big Hugs and Blessings to you and to Karen~
