Mini-rant: Is it just me, or are some cards starting to look like corsages lately? While very pretty for an occasional card, I can't see the practicality of them. How do you mail them? Isn't it expensive? The last time I went to the U.S. Post Office with a 6x9 padded envelope card, it cost $1.95. I thought she mis-weighed it. I have about ten Thank Yous to send out on Tuesday and $0.45 x 10 is a lot cheaper than $1.95 x 10. I LOVE to make dimensional cards with layers, pop-ups, etc., so I have to force myself to make flatter cards that will still go through the post and get to the recipient. Oh, well. In the end, we're all fortunate to be wealthy enough to be able to buy crafting stuff and make our own cards.
