Good morning, lovely stampers!!! Today is the second day of the Falliday challenges, and I'm so excited to share my challenge with you. My favorite holiday is Christmas. I was born shortly before Christmas, and, as the story goes, I went home from the hospital in a Christmas stocking.
When it came time to think of an idea for my challenge, I saw my little collection of "Happy Holly Days" stamps, and the lightbulb went off. Thus, the title of my challenge is Happy Holly Days, and I want to see your creations with holly leaves and holly berries.

How appropriate & fun that you chose a Holly & Holly Berries theme for your challenge!! Made me smile the very moment I first read it! I had an as-yet unlinked holly branch stamp, so I used it to create a border of holly and a spring to hold a Christmas ornament.

Decided to do a modern take on holly and berries- used a hole punch for the berry centers, along with some coloring with a gold pen. Added fussy cut leaves, dc berry shapes, and ribbon with bead accents. Here's Modern Holly and Berries

I was hoping to get this done before the sun went down so I could get a better picture but I didn''t quite make it. So i had to settle for my craft table..oh well...fun challenge!

Love holly and I can smell Christmas already! Here's my holly card. This will probably be my last challenge for the Falliday Fest as I am leaving for Italy on Wednesday. I tried to schedule it around HYCCT not knowing that this was to take it's place and the dates would be different...but at least I got a few challenges in.

Holly, that is so cute that you were brought home in a Christmas stocking! Here's my card with my long winded description FF16Hbrown The Ivy & the Holly.
I actually ended up making not only one, but two cards based on this challenge. I was working with a DSP pacl (Berry Bouquet) that was down to just a few scraps and the ideas kept coming, so I kept going.
