I've added two cards to the gallery and one card was a bit intricate, so I included an expanded view.
If you want to play, but don't have scripture stamps, visit Papercraft Memories and Karen (kmmsmom) has some beautiful word art that she offers free of charge. . .It's just lovely. Both of the cards I've uploaded use her scripture art.

At Sunday School we are expected (suggested) to learn Deuteronomy 30:19-20. That is so long that there isn't card enuf to put it all on one...lol but I'll figure how even if I need to use both the outside and the inside. But I did look it up in four different translations to see what fits my memory buds best. I have three weeks and know that God will help me along the way. :o)

Have you thought about just embellishing a memory card to hang on your bathroom mirror or somewhere else in your home?
What about breaking the verse into parts and making several cards? In my bathroom, I have 4 small lighthouse pictures which are attached with jute cord. Maybe you could put the verse on several embellished cards and attach them together. I have to memorize in smaller bytes these days. LOL!
I've been a lurker here for awhile and have to say I just love all these cards and ideas! I hope to someday have time to create some of my own Bible verse cards to post.
Bonnie...I am so glad to hear that you are enjoying looking at our Scripture creations. It will be great when you have time to share yours too. :-) LM

Hi All, What grand ideas for learning and displaying my 'long' verse. My memory isn't very shape any more either so maybe if I learn only two lines at a time, that could work. AND to have note cards about is such a good idea. Poor hubby will probably have it memorized before I do...lol Thanks again.
I decided to catch up for the year of these wonderful challenges. I hope we do them again in 2011! I plan to go back and do all the months seasonally; here is the ones I have come up with so far:
Debbie Jean...Welcome again. No need to worry about "measuring up". Our focus is displaying a Scripture Verse each month that we want to memorize, meditate on. The enjoyment of making it into a pretty project is the bonus. :-)

I just posted my December card. I know I used the verse in 2009, but it's a great verse and I wanted to use it again. I plan to use it for a 65th anniversary card, as I couldn't come up with another verse, and felt 1 Cor. 13:13 applied. I've enjoyed looking at everyone's work, and am looking forward to playing again in 2011!
