Wow everyones cards look so good, I need to go back and comment on them. I have dail-up and it's so slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. Now that I'm done my card I can take the time to browse.
Not really crazy about this card, seems to be lacking something. I guess you can't be in love with every card you make. Maybe I'll try another one later.
I took my picture outside, but soon I won't be able to as my patio door will be frozen shut, and I'll have to climb snowbanks to get on the deck. lol You gotta love these Sask. winters. When I take them in the house they either turn out washout, or to dark. I guess i need a scanner. I can take pictures of people, and they turn out fine, just can't take pictures of cards.
I would love to see what you come up with Kraft, Holly. I'm sure everyone else would love it also. We don't want to miss out on drooling over one of your beautiful cards.
Kittie, you and I are thinking along the same lines. I don't care what color Holly chooses, her cards are gorgeous! Don't deny us your talent Holly.
Here's my card--I didn't have any Sahara Sand, so I used kraft instead. I like those colors together! Now I need to try one that is softer! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I totally messed up, I finished my card, uploaded it and then went to comment and found that I totally forgot about the Sahara Sand color. Sorry. I just went merrily on my way using the Naturals White.

"All me mates be down in Davey Jones' locker! Arg!!"
(translation: "All my friends are lost at sea", in this case, the sea of plums and artichoke! hahaha
I just happened to find this peice of shaving creamed cardstock that used pale plum (maybe both?) so I decided to see what I could do with it today. It's not the colors I normally would've chosen for this, (norm. I would've used Hearfelt Thanks or something soft and subtle like that) but I stepped outside my "normal box" ;) and Here it is!
Great colors! Not so challenging, since they work so well together, but always fun to work with.
Here is my overly distressed card! Not sure the buckle was the right choice of embellishment. Looks like it's trying to hold up some crazy paisley pants!!! I am trying to be positive . . . OnlyYou
My first time doing one of the challenges! Definitely took me out of my comfort zone with the Sahara Sand! This was fun; I hope to find time for more of the challenges
This one I followed the rules and used the right colors. Seaside Sketches A horrible scan I used Always Artichoke and it looks like something else in this scan. Oh well. I tried.

After one glass of wine, here she is (I'm not sure if the provencal grapes inspired the glass of wine, or the wine inspired the grapes??): Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I've used this combo before (back when the pocket card was the sketch challenge) but even so, I found this harder then I would have though. Ecspecially considering that purple and green are my favorite colors. Go figure! lol Gallery at Splitcoaststampers (I combined this with the tlc & sc challenges)
