CC748 Eating Cobbler in the Garden under the Golden sun (7/16/19)
Hello, Color Lovers! It is my pleasure to be your hostess again this week! We have some rich colors for you, but first let's celebrate our favorite from last week.
Karen said, I could not resist this rich diorama, complete with the mischievous puppy, who tangled with the decorations....and the female deer all adorned for Christmas! What a labor of love, and work of art by Tonda!!
Congratulations, Tonda! The code to add the badge to your blog is attached below, and your card also will be pinned on our Pinterest Challenge board. Check it out here.
This month's theme is CHRISTMAS IN JULY. The theme is optional and there are still desserts each week in addition to the theme! My teammates have chosen some beautiful, non-traditional color combinations this month. I'm a traditional girl, though, so this week we have the MOST predictable Christmas combination you can imagine!
This week's colors are:
Cherry Cobbler Garden Green Gold
Did you know that you are always welcome to use the Neutral family from the SU color palette in addition to the challenge colors? You can find those colors here.
Jenn such a sad situation for Stephanie, I pray that she will be better. This card goes out today.
Barbara you chose some bold colors! Unfortunately I did not have the basic green, but did make a crochet hook in that color.
Both GREAT challenges!!

for this week's color challenge with Christmas being the dessert option- I used this cute elves stamp set, masking and sponging my background, and adding pine branches for my decorations. My sentiment panel edges were scraped along my inkpad and I applied my aqua painter to blur the color a bit. Also used my aqua painter to diffuse the colors on the elve's clothing, and added some gold washi tape behind my sentiment panel. Here's No one elf

Your color choices certainly did suggest "Christmas" strongly to me....and I went with it. Thank you for pushing me to make my first Christmas card for the upcoming season.
