12/11/18 - CC717 - PETALS OF MINT AND HEATHER ON THE HIGHLANDS!!
HELLO stamping friends,
I am happy to be your color hostess this week!
Let's start out with last week's favorite: Jeanne was our hostess and she chose Angie's Tropical Dreamcard.
Jeanne said: "Angie's card is a wonderful CAS design that shows off the colors beautifully. Her attention to detail really set this card apart for me!"
Congrats Angie! Your card will be featured on our color challenge Pinterest board. See that here.
And.....the colors for this week are not Christmasy, but if you use your imagination....I think you could make it work.....
PETALS OF MINT AND HEATHER ON THE HIGHLANDS!
which translates to:
PETAL PINK MINT MACARON HIGHLAND HEATHER
and for DESSERT......STRIPES!
ACTUALLY......surprise us with some Christmas cards - that adds to the challenge!!! But of course it's totally optional since my card is NOT a Christmas card......
Please keep in mind, too, that while we list SU colors for the challenges these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!!!
Please put CC717 in your keywords section (and if you have more than one challenge use a comma to separate them) so we can find your card!
Karen those colors are so cool - and lovely together! Great challenge today - and I used stripes!

I really had to think about these colors, Karen, which is a good thing, right? I usually don't like pink and purple together but I kept the pink at a minimum and am pretty happy with my results. Challenges are good!
