HelloColorChallengeFriends. It's Tuesday and we have a fun color challenge lined up for you. It's a repeat of an idea that we did about a year ago. #573on the charts for us right now!!!
Before, I introduce the colors let's congratulate the fave from last week's challenge. Maura, as hostess was to pick her favorite. She selected Kia's with Love. Maura said:"I love the pop of red flowers against the subtle blue wash, Kia's use of lots of white space and of course, her signature sprinkle of sequins - a lovely card, Kia"!!
Congrats, Kia!! The code to attach the badge to your blog is below. We will also feature your card on our Pinterest Board. See the Board here.
Now onto our fun for this week. Who likes to play bingo??? Raise hands here, please. Looks like a lot of you do (lol)!!!
Good thing because that's what we are doing this week. Having a good old fashioned bingo game but instead of numbers, we are using colors.
Just like regular bingo, you can pick a horizontal or vertical row. A diagonal line might be interesting. You can even select the 4 corners for your combo, if you like. Just let us know what combo you chose for your card,
We may even have something hidden in this bingo card. After all when you play bingo you win a prize right?? But you will have to play and then tune in next week - Just sayin'!!
Dessert Option: is anything goes. Just tell us what you chose. Neutrals for this game: white, vanilla or black
Please keep in mind, that while we list SU colors for the challenges these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!!!
Please put CC573 in your keywords section (and if you have more than one challenge, use a comma to separate them) so we can find your card!

Imagine my surprise to receive a nice envie of dc goodies and dps from my good friend Diane from SCS! I was able to use them for the bottom horizontal row of the bingo challenge- pear, razzleberry, wisteria, and soft suede. I embellished the dc butterfly with a floral mid-section, sewn on with thread, and accented with some twines. Used some soft brown matstack dps for my background, with a gingham "petticoat" peeking out. Here's Diane's Butterfly

This was so much fun! I bought the Tim Holtz Crazy Bird body stamps, accessory stamps, body dies and accessory dies - the most money I've ever spent on one theme. For a long time, I just wasn't sure how to put them all together. Ran out of ideas for coloring, then realized this challenge is a wonderful way to be inspired by color. Now I feel like I'm getting my monies worth - here is my Bingo Bird

Thanks so much for the fun bingo color challenge, Mary! With all these colors, I kept looking for blue, but there wasn't one, lol. So I went w/ the 2nd row across & used heat embossing for my dessert. Here's my Birthday Superstar. Thanks so much for looking!
Geni, I love, love, love, your sheltering tree. I've been inspired. Just gotta have that tree die. Love your color combo too. Beautiful card. Into my faves. tfs.
Great colors. I picked the 2nd row, but needed a white panel to help the colors
stand out. I squiggled on it with Bermuda bay waves because I seem to have a problem with white space. I added the cherry on the cupcake for my dessert.
Here is the Puffin Birthday Party card.
Thanks for looking. I'm going to try to add some more snow to the bergs before I mail this to Loiuse. Any suggestions?
So difficult to choose! I found myself drawn to the last column with soft sky, real red, elegant eggplant, and soft suede. And then I made a Bingo dauber inspired card. Another fun challenge! Here is my take on those colors:
Hello everyone. This is the first time I have tried a color challenge here. I at first tried the diagonal with two pinks, but that didn't work out as well as I had hoped, so then I did the second column with the purple, yellow, white and green and kept it really simple.
I have never participated in a challenge and have never posted. Are there instructions on how to do this? I was able to upload my card and put it in the SU Gallery under Secret Garden. I also used the keyword CC573 but have no idea if it will be linked to this challenge. TIA for your help!
