Hello Color Challenge Friends!! It's Tuesday and we have a brand new color challenge lined up for you. #518on the charts for us!
Before, I introduce the colors let's congratulate the fave from last week's challenge. Barbara, as hostess was to pick her favorite. She selected Pat's (aka kokirose) "summer by the sea" card.
Barbara said:"This card evokes wonderful memories of trips to the beach with my family. I love the image, and all the little details, from the stitching to the shell brad. It makes my heart sing!"
Congrats Pat! Your card will also be pinned on our Pinterest color challenge board. Check it out here. The code to add the badge to your blog is below.
Now onto this week's challenge. Did I have you intrigued with my title? I am choosing 5 colors and you can pick 3 to work with or use all 5 of them. Just let us know your choice.
Are you ready for "a baked pistachio honey crisp on the coast"?
the colors for cc518

Please keep in mind, too, that while we list SU colors for the challenges these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!!!
Please put CC518 in your keywords section (and if you have more than one challenge, use a comma to separate them) so we can find your card! If you need help uploading click here.
Lovely color palette, Mary. These "pick at least three colors" challenges are fun. I already had the coloring of this image in the works and it happened to coincide with 4 of your 5 colors. Thanks.
Thanks for the fun challenge....I LOVE it when I have time to stamp before work!!! No baby card this time around.....needed a masculine card to put in the mail today.....
Thanks for the lovely colors, Mary! And yay! Our power was finally restored! It went out about 9 last night (lots of ice on the trees & power lines) & came on about 4 am. (I know this because I forgot a lamp in bedroom was on when the power went out. Yikes!) Here's my Easter Ducks. Thanks so much for looking!
These are beautiful colors together. Here's my card.

I went with blues, greens, and browns for my ocean themed card- did a sponged background and a woodgrain embossed panel for texture, along with a twine/burlap tie. Dedicated to our 2 kids who love the ocean. Here's Best Mate

I have seen some very pretty cards in the gallery, but haven't commented on all of them yet. I have a keynote presentation tomorrow night, so my focus is there right now.
But keep these coming! Friday, I'll be in my jammies with a cup of tea, my laptop, and a cozy blanket...spending lots of time in the gallery!
