hi everyone and happy 4th! My DH took the kids for an early morning bike ride so instead of lounging and resting, I decided to do a full out bake fest! Pineapple upside down cake, red white and blue trifle and chocolate pudding pie!
Now to catch up and get my cards uploaded! Have a great day, I'll be checking out the beautiful artwork from my deck!
I was able to combine two challenges #5 (faux wood) & #6 (inspired by a flag). Here's my Starry Celebration (photo 1) and Starry Celebration 2 (photo 2).
We celebrate Independence Day (in the U.S.A.) today because this is the date of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. But this event was neither the beginning of the struggle for independence, nor even of the Revolutionary War. More than two years before, the colonists protested the control of the monarchy over their affairs without any representation from the colonies by a protest over the latest tax on tea. When the governor of Massachusetts refused to return a shipment of tea to England, Patriots destroyed the tea by dumping it in the harbor. We now call this event the Boston Tea Party.
Your challenge is to make a TEA themed card.

When I was a kid, I think my favorite of the fireworks was sparklers. I could write with them, run with them, sending showers of sparks in all directions...and of course, I burned my hands on them more than once.
Your challenge is to make your card SPARKLE! Use glitter or sparkle sprays or rhinestones, or whatever else will make your card SPARKLE. Have fun!

Use stars on your CAS card. Your stars can be die cuts, brads, stamped images, etc.

I just discovered all of these wonderful challenges - I've been away from the card-making for awhile. What a perfect way to get back in the swing! Here is my first one:
__________________ Yapha I help people who are sick and tired regain their energy and improve their gut health so they can stop feeling exhausted every day and get back to feeling their best.
Here are my Balloons and Stars for Challenge #12, to use stars on a card. I'm hoping I can use these RW&B cards as birthday cards during July. I'm having fun reading the challenges, viewing/commenting in the galleries, and making cards today. I see at least one more posted challenge that I want to make.
See the attachment for the sketch inspired by the stars and stripes on the American flag.

I am so impressed by the variety of cards made for the first challenge, the 4-panel sketch. It is such a simple sketch, but every card looks different from all the others. It's one of those very versatile sketches that I'll be using often. Thanks!
