Crazy Relatives: Every family has at least one crazy relative... right? I hope it's not just us!
Make a CAS card for a family member. It doesn't have to be a December holiday card. It can be a card for a birthday, Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, etc. But it must have a title (mother, husband, son, etc.) It is also okay just to have the title without the sentiment. The title does not have to be stamped. It can be written or computer generated.
Keyword: CASwinter10CR
(No spaces CAS winter 10 CR -- not good. If you are concerned about getting it right, copy & paste it into your keyword box.)
Please also post a link in this thread just in case there is an error with the keyword or if the gallery is being finicky on the judging days.
Submission Deadline: Wednesday, Nov. 24 @ 10 PM (EST)
New Rules as of Fall 2010:
Please don't combine this challenge with any other current SCS challenge.
Please make only one card. (It's easier to narrow down the field this way.)
I didn't have time to make new cards. Here's a sample just using the title without the sentiment.
Yeah, it feels like that for me too! We've been here barely 2 years; but we knew that going in. This next move is "permanent" (the quotes because, with my husband, no location is permanent, lol). We're off to Colorado. I'm very excited about this move!
Karen what part of Colorado? we are moving thee as well
Oh, I loved challenge #1 and squealed with delight to see my name in the picks. I'm so excited! Must say #2 has me totally stumped, that's what makes this a great and FUN challenge. Can't wait to see cards created for all those relatives, crazy or not!
Congratulations to all who entered and a high five to all you made it through the first round. I can't wait to see what creativity will make the gallery for round 2.
Thanks, Jen, I am so happy to be playing in this round. Can't wait to see everyone's great cards!
Here's my entry: Fur Dad (pun intended. OK, this crazy relatives theme has made me just a bit punchy, LOL!))
I feel so honored to be participating in the second round of this challenge.
Everyone's cards are just wonderful.
I made 3 cards actually.. one for a sister, one for a brother and the one I chose to use was one for my mom.
I have to admit that I honestly was stunned to be chosen to advance to round two because I didn't really care for the card I made for round one. Jen, thank you for liking my card even though I didn't!
Here's my take on the Crazy Relative theme: heh heh heh
Beautiful cards all. This has been super fun to play along in the challenges. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Enjoy the wonderful time this holiday with your loved ones.
