~~~CAS WEEKLY CHALLENGE~~~
CAS261: Color My World
While making the change from a blog to Pinterest, something occurred to me. I rarely make colored cards anymore when making a cas card. But I used to make some fun ones.
Part of the cas definition is: "lots of white or open space "
So, your challenge today is to make a cas card using a colored base.
No neutrals! That includes white, ivory, kraft, grays and black.
Go for pastels or brights! It's fun!
I have a few samples in the attachments at the end of the post.
KEYWORD: CAS261
It's also great to add the keyword: CAS so that you're in two galleries.
Uploading : Remember the keyword is without spaces. Use a comma between keywords with a space after each comma.
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration, showcase the CAS style and to get us stamping!
I'm delighted that you pointed out CAS doesn't always have to be white or another neutral. I explain in my description why my CAS panel is on a white base of CS. Thanks for the challenge, Jen.
Great challenge to remind us CAS doesn't have to always be white space! Here's MY CARD.
This truly was a challenge for me to use a card base that is colored for a CAS design card. My default color for card base is either white or off-white, so this was out of my comfort zone!
HERE is my CAS card for the challenge today. My image and sentiment is from ODBD and the cardstock is PTI. I love the result ... stamping similar colors onto colored cardstock can sometimes give just the look you want. Thanks for looking.
Here is my card for the , CAS261, color my world challenge. I hope this qualifies. Thanks for the fun challenge, and thanks for looking.
